Robert Mirabal invites you into his world for a bowl of chili and stories and songs of his Taos, New Mexico life. Interspersing stories of his childhood which are sometimes heart-wrenching with songs of hope, love and humor we're given a visual picture of his world. If you have a CD rom drive in your computer you can see these images on the enhanced CD containing a video of the song, "Indians, Indians" which mixes the New Mexico landscape with live concert footage. Mirabal has successfully bridged the gap between traditional Native values and contemporary American society with his special brand of rock, poetry and storytelling. Winner in the category of "spoken word" at the 2004 Indian Summer Festival.
