Eaton’s beautiful handmade stringed instruments are featured on this first collaboration between the two artists. Lyre, harp guitar (a harp built onto the neck of a guitar!) synth guitar, o’ele’n strings and 26 string guitar are some of the incredibly graceful sounding instruments he has mastered. The two musicians are a perfect match as Nakai’s flute melodies weave in and out of Eaton’s lyrical chords. Bird-songs, thunder and rain emerge naturally from the music never detracting from the themes of each song. Continues to be a good seller for us year after year especially, during the holiday season.
