Open your ears for a special treat from our favorite female vocalist, Joanne Shenandoah. She's joined by Lawrence Laughing's gentle vocals on much of the recording. Tom Wasinger and Mark McCoin, producer and musician add the subtle touches of dulcimer, avitar, harp, guitar, ocarina, flute and several exotic instruments. Many of Joanne's vocals have been multi-tracked giving this album a much different feel than her preivous recordings. Liner notes give an excellent accounting of the Six Iroquois Nations traditions and the origins of each song.
