Joseph Fire Crow explores the themes of the warrior in a contemporary musical setting using, drum, guitar, flute, keyboards and vocalizations. Many songs are re-workings of traditional Cheyenne melodies. "A Far Cry" is an upbeat jazz-rock extravaganza with soaring flutes and some vocalizing. There are solo flute songs as well a "49" song included. The stand out track is "Ridgewalker", a song in honor of his great grandfather. An artist that enjoys exploring different musical styles in a traditional context. His Cheyenne Nation is a steady seller.
