Elbert “Blackfox” Pomani is a full blood Hunkpappa Lakota from the Crow Creek Reservation. He is a respected Road Man and peyote singer. He has traveled to all parts of Native America conducting meetings and living on seven different reservations learning the customs and languages of many Native peoples. He hopes one day to see the formal unification of Native American tribes in order to achieve a better way of life and to make sure that past treaties are honored. On water drum is the noted peyote singer, Lorenzo Shields, Jr.
