Bill Miller (Mohican) found great success in the country scene in Nashville. Catching the eye of Warner Brothers Records his music has grown from album to album. He sings of the struggles of the ordinary man, a grandfather and his son on the reservation road, falling in love and the great loss endured by his people. He is joined by some great song-writing talent as well. Brad Parker and Wendy Waldman sing on several cuts lending a pop flavor with wonderful close harmonies. The music is upbeat even though the subject matter is sometimes grim and there is always hope in his voice as well as in his lyrics. “I threw stones at broken bottles, took what this life had to offer and I let it shine when others made it rain.” There are also two beautiful flute pieces backed by guitar.
